Witchlings #2: The Golden Frog Games

It's time for the Twelve Towns' legendary magical tournament-the Golden Grog Games! With Ravenskill hosting this year's games, all eyes are on the now-famous Witchling Spares: Seven Salazar, Valley Pepperhorn, and Thorn Laroux. Thorn is ready to compete as a fashion champion - until a forbidden hex is used to turn her teammate to stone.

 Suspicion quickly falls on Thorn and her friends. But as the Witchlings attempt to unravel the miistery, and more witches fall victim to the stone hex, they start to realize that Thorn may be the Hexer's true target.

Meanwhile, Seven is harboring a dangerous secret: She's supposed to be able to communicate with animals, but the voices she hears most clearly belong to monstruos, and the spine-chilling voice of the deadly Nightbeast is the loudest of all.

Can Seven fix her broken magic and find out who's stonifying the champions... before Thorn becomes the next victim?
